Thursday night's match was a definite nail biter but one that will go down in school history. With it being our last home game during regular season, we got a chance to recognize the seniors before the ladies took on Laona/Wabeno. The match that night was a tough battle against the 3 time reigning Conference Champs, but a battle that the ladies fought through and won. Last night's victory meant that Elcho has won the conference title for the first time in school History.

On October 5th, 8th graders attended the Heavy Metal Tour, an event designed to expose teens to the Manufacturing Industry. Elcho students toured Printpack, Superior Diesel, and the Industrial Mechanic Technician Lab at Nicolet College and got feedback from employers on what classes they should take to prepare for jobs in the field.

On August 16th and 17th the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center hosted the annual PBIS Leadership Conference. The Elcho School District PBIS Team had the opportunity to attend this year. PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports, and focuses on schools instilling a positive and supportive culture. All of the staff from Elcho who attended the conference walked away with great new ideas for their classroom. Additionally, the team found time to work together on ideas for the entire school district.
